Well, isn’t that just the most subjective post
title you ever did see? Then again, I’m
wary of calling it “The Anniversary Collection” because even if it does allow a
reference to Street Fighter, it just doesn’t have the
syllabic flow I’m looking for.
Also, I want to make sure that the tabs on the
home page are all regulated to a single bar, no matter what screen I or anyone
else is on.
…This is a golden
start for a post.
It doesn’t get much more straightforward
than this. I’ve seen some blogs elsewhere that offer up a list of
easily-accessed posts -- a collection of things that set the tone/content of
the blog and are pretty high-quality
in their own right. So I figured I
should do the same. By this point I’ve
got enough material to pull from. On top
of that, even at this stage I’m seeing new faces pop in for some of my latest
stuff. Why make them dig through drop
menus and run searches when they can see some of the best filed under one
comprehensive tab (over on the far right, ideally)?
That’s exactly what I’ve done now. I’ve gone through and picked some of A) my favorite posts, B) the posts that
best capture the ideas I’ve tried to get across, and/or C) the posts I think people should read before any others. Of course, what’s up in the tab is pretty
much based on my opinion alone -- so if you’re a long-time follower who thinks
there should be something I need to add, then feel free to say so. I’ll add it ASAP.
I’ll be the first to admit, though, that I’ve done
a little cheating. A lot of the
“Greatest Hits” will link to posts that are the first part of a set. That’s mostly unavoidable, considering that I
type way too damn much. But there should
be links to the Part 2s, 3s, and so on, so anyone can either follow the subject
to its conclusion, or drop it after Part 1.
I will say this, though: the only exception is the “Good Morning, Kupo!”
series of FF13-2 posts. That’s the one thing that should ideally be
read from start to finish…for an incalculable number of reasons.
And that’s pretty much all there is to it. Whether you’re a Cross-Up frequenter or a new
visitor (beckoned by the promise of Christina Hendricks pictures), I’m hoping
that this new tab will be something for everyone to enjoy -- and contribute to,
if the need arises. Until next time,
then. Keep checking in to see the latest
content; maybe then, we can all reach out for hope.
Oh, and I should probably say “like, comment, and
subscribe”. That’s what all the Cool
Guys do, isn’t it? Or is it "follow"? Or "share"?
…I need a distraction. Gold Lightan, you're up!
Good. Good. Show them the power of gold...even if you lose super-hard to platinum.
